Achievements at the 2009 World Eight-ball Pool Championships
Over 50's
We have a Singles World Champion in the Over 50 category.
Congratulations to Pieter Rademeyer from Easthern Province. He made us all proud.
Another Achievement for the Over 50 Team. They were the runners-up in the Team Event. The team went overseas with one thing in mind and that is knowing that they can be the best in the world. They played very well and lost in the finals against England 3 / 5. Congratulations to all.
Men's Team Event
Our Men's side did extremely well, ending third in the Team Event. They played against India in the play-offs and lost 10 / 11.
JJ Faul ended first in the Team Event. He won 22 of his 30 frames.
Dustin Alves ended 9th and Sean Nel ended 15th. Congratulations to all our players.
JJ Faul was also taken up in the WEPF Dream Team - Congratulations
